Files are displayed as: artist - title In order to change a file's information, right click that file, and click File Information. ![]() This is created by adding individual files, other playlists, directories, or URLs ( How?). In the middle window, the Playlist editor, your current playlist is displayed. This can either be a spectrum analyzer, and oscilliscope, or turned off. Just below this button is the visualization area. In the top left corner of the window, there is a button that will open up the options menu. The song's kbps and kHz are also displayed. There is a volume control, mono/stereo control, a textarea that displays the song's title, artist, and length. The long bar in the middle tracks the current song's progression, and the button can be moved along the bar to move back or ahead in the current song. There are two buttons that will toggle Shuffle and Loop. You can see all of the standard play buttons in the Main Window (Previous, Play, Pause, Stop, and Next). This is the standard layout because many skins take advantage of it by making the edges between the three windows fit nicely. This is the standard interface for Winamp. ![]() It can loop, play random songs, and use plug-ins that perform incredible visualizations, and play video files (How?). It has a playlist editor, equalizer, volume control, and cross-fader. It is skinnable ( How?), and has many plug-ins ( How?) available at the website. This is the second best MP3 player out there.
